Inserted in an area dominated by maritime pine, of which the famous Leiria pine forest is an example, Pedrosa e Irmãos has been dedicated, since 1976, to the slaughter and sale of woody material.
We accompany the entire production process, from felling to sectioning and transport of the wood to our facilities, where it is transformed according to its characteristics: sawn wood, round wood or energy recovery. We concluded the cycle by reforesting the exploration areas.

Controlled quality and certified guarantee
With dozens of years of experience in the sector, we carefully control the quality from the beginning, through all the processes until delivery to the customer. We respond to the most rigorous requirements of national and international reference entities.
We sell products impregnated with Creosote or Tanalith and the entire preservation process is carried out in facilities certified by the French FCBA Institute. This type of treatment allows us to guarantee the preservation of the wood for 15 years.
Pedrosa & Irmãos implemented a Factory Production Control (CPF) system and its products comply with the EN 14229:2010 standard. We are proud to be the first national company to produce and market wooden poles for overhead lines with CE marking.
