Land Preparation

Terraces

This preparation consists of moving earth from the upper part of the land, in a space of 4 m, to the lower part, in order to build a slope that will form horizontal platforms according to the contour lines.

Ripping

Operation that is intended to cause the breaking of the soil horizons in depth in order to facilitate the root development of the plants, without producing changes in the respective disposition.

Harrowing

It involves the cutting and total or partial incorporation of vegetation and forest residues in the soil, with a grid. Harrowing is carried out to loosen the soil compaction or to incorporate woody material into the soil after chipping stumps.

Stump breaking

It consists of cutting the aerial part of the stumps or stumps into pieces in order to avoid their bursting and to keep the root system in the soil in conditions favorable to its decomposition, reducing erosion phenomena and facilitating the subsequent installation operations.
